I am home ill. I was supposed to be giving a presentation at a workshop today but since there was no way I would make it I sent a short video out in my place. I just got sent a picture of rows of delegates with their heads tilted to one side.
This makes me happy.

Did you do that all yourself - it was brilliant. How long did it take?
Also, I want more presentations to be like that :)

Did it at home yesterday. Thought it would only take a couple hours...
In actual fact:
1 hour drawing
2 hours editing
30 mins to find some cc music and sling it in
1 hour tweaking after showing it to a couple of people
3 hours combined rendering, exporting and compressing time (on a not very fast laptop mind you)
Then a few hours getting it on youtube/on a download location from a notveryfast net connection - though I went and made tea for this bit
The variable speeding up takes a fair amount of rendering it turns out...

Actually... this would make a good 48hrfilm, no?
Also, get well soon.

Would be an easy thing to try beforehand too. Not sure I've seen much sci-fi animations done for challenges, but you could do a great combination of speed up action and stop motion

Well, maybe 'how to rope all your friends into making a film in a really short amount of time...' ;)
Maybe it could be a distributed effort? You could do one on minecraft... Or how to cope with a close friend getting sucked into Eve. I could probably use that one:):)
