Signed up for an exchange, the lm_hgficxchange. Am very excited about it though! Wont say if I'm doing fic or art, could go either way :) I've been getting lovely reactions on the drabbles I've written, so that's encouraging. And here's an example of fanart I've made a while ago, (Warning for nudity!)

Oh, my! This is a great piece of artwork. I love the simplicity of the lines and the way you've coloured it. It reminds me of dabbing paint with real sponges, which gives this picture an added sea-immersed quality.

I'm very much looking forward to what you write or draw for the exchange.

Thank you! Colouring on the computer was much, much harder then I anticipated. I really need a tablet, now I'm just using the paint program that comes with the pc. I'm usually a plain old watercolour and oilpaint girl :)

Mmm...yes, it can be really tricky colouring without a tablet. I got one a little while ago and it's been a lot of fun learning how to use it. I'm usually a non-digital-art kind of a girl, too, but have now gotten into the habit of doing even the line work of a drawing on photoshop. Have to say, it can be so convenient in terms of undoing what you've drawn, etc...

I'm even more impressed with this, though. That it was done on MS paint without a tablet is highly commendable! :)

This really is an admirable piece. As someone mentioned before, I especially like her tail, and you did a fantastic job with her hand! *is a hand fanatic when it comes to art*

But between her tail and hair, I don't know which I like more. Where is a like button when you need it eh?

Oh and so glad you signed up for the lmhgxchange! I took the plunge and signed up as well. It's so nice to see everyone's joining in on the fun! XD

Thank you so much! It was my first real HP fanart. I'm working on a similar piece where Hermione and Snape are both merfolk :) Though Lucius would make a very handsome merman too ;p
