I got what I wanted for Christmas.

A few days after my computer was reamed out, refurbished, and running again--and my dead monitor trashed and replaced--Mama and I went to her oncologist and got the news. Partial remission (with cancer protein markers at 1 to 4) is a thing of the past. She is finally in full remission, at zero. The chance we took with the transplant paid off big. ( Read more... )

Oh, Peach...! Oh dear.

I wish I could hug you, comfort you, somehow. You've been in my heart for a long time, doesn't matter that we've never physically met. You're a smart cookie, going ahead and getting that scan early. I'm holding onto only good, positive thoughts for you. I must.

You said it. God bless us all, my friend.

I am so glad to see you back again ~ I've been worried about you and your family and hoping things were going okay. I'm so glad to hear that your mom is in remission!!! W00t! I knew she was a strong, tough lady! And I am glad you are starting to recover from the emotional strain, too. I will continue to keep all of you in my thoughts, and I wish you a very, very happy holiday season and a new year full of good health and happiness and adventures. :)

((hugs))

Stephe, that's WONDERFUL news! I'm so happy for you all!

What you've been through just boggles my mind. Shutting down for awhile is what the mind and body must do in order to rest, heal, and regain balance. Don't force it, just give it time.

Season's Greetings to you all!

And here's hoping and praying for the best for you, Peachette.

Thanks for the advice, Li. Happy Holidays to you too, my island pal. Let's go into the New Year with much hope.

Yes, our Peach is strong but she needs good vibes. Send all you can muster!
