For the love of Greg Brady. Someone please send a memo to HollywoodLand and instruct them to STOP spoiling perfectly good death scenes with the old "close the dead eyes with a gentle pass of the hand" parlor trick. That doesn't work. At all.  Gentle, firm, hard, whatever.

I tried it and it doesn't work!  Gah.

Yeah, I don't get that, either. They just wave their hand over the head and the eyes magically close when the hand comes away. I've always wondered how that works.

I do like it when a film has them put pennies on the eyes, though. I've always thought that was cool, giving them money to pay for Charon's boat ride across the Styx and all....

Charon definitely didn't play when it came to his money. ;)

At least the coins make even more sense to me now, with the (slight) weight they would provide. Eye lids don't cooperate.
