Focusing on the way a person's body moves is part of learning dance moves. Unless the muscles move in the exact same ways, the moves won't be completely accurate.

Sadly, that song is the only time you see the actor looking that hot. :( he's kind of a nerd in the first half, and an ass in most of the second.
