[Good day to you, residents of Luceti. There is a platypus standing in your village. He's going to be switching locations every so often, so don't worry about where in the village he is. It could range from the plaza to the furthest outskirts, really. The point is, he is there. He will stand, unmoving, staring blankly into space

[Japan is out and about, taking a walk with his dog Pochi. He doesn't seem to notice the platypus with wings right away, but his dog certainly does. Pochi yips and starts towards Perry, wagging his tiny furry tail.]

[He reaches into his kimono top and pulls his journal out, opening it up. As soon as he does, several voices start coming out from other people's entries.]

Aaah....I wonder if they will hear me...

[... ...... Well. That's an interesting book.]

[Japan sighs and closes the book.]

Perhaps later when it is not so loud. Until then, would you like to come with me and Pochi-kun? We are going to go to the stores.

[The dog yips and wags his tail again.]

[As much as Perry would like to come, he's on a stakeout. Much more information is needed. Plus, he can't exactly move fast enough to keep up with Japan while he's undercover, so he'll just stand there again. His glazed expression may be interpreted as a "no".]

[He gets to his feet with a "yoisho" and bows to Perry.]

[Japan. That's a funny name. He looks Japanese, too. His parents must've had a bad sense of humor.]

He bows again and calls to Pochi, then heads off.]

[Perry watches him go, before his eyes narrow suspiciously. Things just keep getting stranger and stranger here.]
