Weird Numbers

The world is full of weird things like numbers. A prime number is any number that can only be divided by itself and 1. The single digit prime numbers are 1, 2, 3, 5, 7 as they can only be divided by themselves and 1. 1 will divide evenly into any number odd or even. 2 will only divide into even numbers such as 0, 2, 4, 6, 8 in the first column ( ( Read more... )

Commenting on this page had taken me several days to mull over and all I can say is, thanks for the math lesson, Dylex.

You and Charlie - the mathematician with the beautiful mind in the show Numbers - are so in sync that it is impossible to imagine a more successful outcome (or joy of weird) numbers, especially since I wasn’t a sharp math student during my grammar schooling.

Neither was I so you're not alone. Decided to sit down one day and try to understand it. I working on the idea that the universe is based on the number 3. Time is based on the number 9.

I was exact when I said that I think of Charlie when I first wrote to you about this topic. Although your modest character prevents you from stating that you are a worldly-wise Math person, you do impress the feeling that of a person who thrives on mental expansion (or the tendency) to analyze universal elements with numbers. I am learning more about Math because of you.
