This was slightly before the Benitez era for them, wasn't it? Those few years, and then under Benitez..they really did look like the Next est Thing and everything. They have to recover. With their squad, with their spunk, everything. I don't really support Valencia, but I'd hate for them to sink into a vortex of relegation or humiliation. They have too much in them for that.

Yeah, where Claudio Ranieri(sp?) was the coach in 1999. I know that they will recover, one way or another. And they have experienced relegation before, but that was 22 years ago. That's a thought that I don't even want to think about as a fan.
