Finally had the chance to listen to i_s_c_a_r_i_o_t's The Phantom of the Opera (the movie) CD. It's good, though I definitely like the original London recording better. Not that I've watched the musical (hehehe 2 years old pa ako nun at di naman ako nakatira sa London), but we owned (read: nawala na) a copy of the original recording, back when cassette tapes pa ( Read more... )

Lam mo ba, kinanta ko yung "Wishing..." sa recital ko before....nung napanood ko sa movie.....tumulo yung luha ko. Same thing happened in "All I Ask of You"

I'm an emotional mess.

Pero parehas tayo. Kahit sobrang extra lang ako, pag sobrang big production naman, parang. WHOA. Magaling ka pa rin.

wahahaha sap! :P gusto ko rin yung "the point of no return", lalo na pag michael crawford ang kumanta...

we should write our own musical, tas tayong dalawa kasali sa cast hahaha.

i still can't get over how our teacher made me general understudy nung english class production namin ng les miz nung 4th year, just because i already knew all of the lyrics. as in...ouch. tapos nung hinika ang javert namin on the day of the presentation, ako pumalit. tas someone kept insisting na after i sing some numbers, siya ulit. so hindi consistent. ang labo, pasalit-salit. di tuloy na-gets ng judges kung sino ang javert at sino yung "extra". hehehe

kaya may judges kasi there were three sections sa 4th year, with different productions, tas maglalaban kung sino ang best characters para dun sa buong 4th year production na ip-present sa buong school.

obviously our "javert"s weren't selected. :P

eh di mag-lessons ka! your sister had the voice...meron din yan sa yo! imposibleng wala. :)

example lang ha...ever since we were kids, sintonado na ang ate ko (i still have our "baby" recordings hehehe). she worked at it kasi kaming dalawa talaga mahilig kumanta, and now she's part of a choir. the alto head, at that. o diba...:P
