Spring at Last

Mother Nature finally remembered to flip the switch on her the heating system last Sunday. It's been warmish since, even for the couple of days of rain we had mid-week. The winds have backed off a bit, too. Now they're merely annoying rather than absolutely brutal. The upshot of this more reasonable weather is that my body now aches like an achey

I have never seen dandelions as tall and vigorous as we have here. Whole crops of them, quite cheerful and healthy. Whole fields of them. I've relented. More of them than me, they can stay.

My neighbor's boyfriend was out with a squirt bottle of Roundup last night spraying the dandelions in their yard while I was mowing my lawn. We both agreed it was probably useless.
