He was also part of Yes during their lowest period, the Drama album. I don't dislike it but it's a weak band - Horn's voice is no Jon Anderson, and his bass playing is completely eclipsed by Chris Squire.

Oh, yeah, I totally agree. I think that was part of what I found so stunning, because although his voice is similar to Anderson, in no way does he have Anderson's range. And Downes is no Wakeman.

I remember the quasi-hit from that album well - Tempus Fugit. Musically it was a lot easier than earlier yes - even Steve Howe's parts are (generally) simplified.
