Huge apologies for the lack of comments and follow-ups from us mods; ceirosken is currently out of town and has no access to the internet, prelude_to_ruin has an unavoidable RL issue, and my internet connection has been severely bogged down because of the Taiwan earthquake.

I'm in a bit of a misery at the moment... I wanted to submit a fanfic for Die's birthday week and sent it to prelude_to_ruin, who sent me a mail in which she said she'd beta it for me as soon as possible. I didn't receive any further email and even waited up to now because I didn't know what had happened and also didn't want to pressure her. So... what am I gonna do now? I didn't submit anything in any week, that really makes me sad; but sure it's too late now to send my fic to another beta, one days before it's all over? I only have 1 1/2 chapters of 3 finished anyway because I thought it would maybe end the way it did now... Well, I just don't know what to do now and would be very grateful for any kind of advice. (Next time I'll just have to start earlier, I know that, but still I'd like to contribute something, anything for this year's festival...)

Oh no, oh dear. What day is it there now? You can send it to me for a quick beta if you like? I'm in the Philippines so it's January 2 here now, but I'm willing to extend the deadline for you because of some really unavoidable delays. I couldn't send it yesterday anymore (at the time I posted the comment it was already quite late on 1st January here), sorry about that. I think it must be quite late where you are now? Anyway, you don't have to be sorry. It's partly (and I'm talking about the biggest part) my own fault because I didn't do anything, really. So I say sorry for not contributing anything this year and promise to try harder next time. Thank you very much for helping me, anyway. *bows*
