The Sef Legacy 3.1A - PT DITFT Challenge
I’m still playing! Look, an update and also a transfer to a new generation. Yay! Let’s recap, shall we?
Ibas, Olive and the dog Ichabas died. Boo! All the kids grew up and became adults eventually, except for Alfred who was still a teen when we left off. Iris fell in love with Alfie, so he’ll probably end up being her spouse after she’s married (and divorced!) a local in order to complete the challenge. She’s going to be the heir who has to complete the holiday stuff because she’s awesome and all the brothers are clones.
When Alfred became a teen (the kid always grew up in the bathroom), we found out that he likes skinny, stinking zombies. That’s what happens when no one ever celebrates your birthday - it’s very traumatic apparently. Since the next generation should kill spouses, I decided that he’s gonna be the other heir because no one said anything about bringing at least one back to life again, right? :P
Thomas and Denzel both found love as well. Thomas wanted a hobby-NPC and Denzel went after Flora. They’re both going to move out soon, though. Flora is still in the game for others as well.
Here we go!
Alfred’s birthday! Because the serial killer poor guy always had unfortunate birthdays, I tried to make up and gave him a real party. Check the hobby-NPC in her wonky default replacement suit (Thomas’ girlfriend). I took the replacement out when I noticed. Too bad. It was kinda awesome.
Alfred: Oooh! Shiny! :D The Hobby-NPC is enthralled as well.
After all the excitement, the 2nd generation went back to what they usually do: working and studying. They’re quite a boring bunch. However, Yerban finally maxed out Film & Literature while writing his 3rd novel. Another objective fulfilled. :)
Because the 3rd generation is now all grown up, it’s time to move out the spares and let Iris and Alfred make all the rules. There goes Thomas...
... and there Denzel. Bye guys! Take care and drop by sometime, okay?
And so the adventure begins! Iris officially takes over and is now heir. She instantly packed her bags and went to her first destination.
Which is the cheapest hotel on Twikkii Island in all its ugly Eaxis-premade glory. (The Sef family is quite rich, but it’s all in the house. It doesn’t really matter where she’s staying tough. She’ll be out all the time anyway.)

... and then crashing on the couch to stare at the desk-guy who’s trying to hide from all the attention. *lol*
I made her go to the tour guide for the first tour around the island. She got a secret map out of it, revealing the location of a secret lot. Ooooh! Good start! Then she went on the other two tours as well, getting more maps (I think). Those were just for decoration.
So off we went to a community lot. Shot from the right angle, it actually looks kinda decent.
When Iris had her ‘Pinapple Surprise’ dish, I realized there were no locals/tourists because of the clean templates and ‘NoTownieRegen’ hacks. *face palm* It was kinda creepy!
Luckily this guy was around to take her pic. He was the only one spawned: some teen with a terrible fashion sense and weird hair. Thank you, EAxis! Your taste in men is as horrible as your building and decoration style!
But no stress here. Iris had a very relaxing massage.
And then I noticed him! Apparently the Unsavory Charlatan needs a holiday as well.
Although someone left his shirt on too long. *lol*
While Iris and hack-defying teen were getting to know each other in the hot spring...
Unsavory Charlatan was sexually harassing robbing the poor massage-woman.
Iris fled into the sauna and met this guy, who’s actually an alien NPC hiding from his work.
He soon left, got dressed and did this. Uhm... creepy, dude.
Of course, more vacation mementos were needed, so Iris tried to build a sand castle while hack-defying teen wanted to claim all of her time. Look at the fire-dancing dude next to him though. He doesn’t stand a chance.
It doesn’t look like much in this pic, but she learnt the dance as well. Yay!
No holiday without a room service memory. Desk-guy served... a hamburger!
It looks kinda sad, Iris all on her own in that ugly room and the hamburger, but at least she got the required memento out of it.
Of course, when one sees a pirate ship, one plays pirate!
She’s quite a fierce fighter!
And after plundering the Captain’s cabin, the dead pirate himself decided to pay her a visit and teach her the Sea Chantey.
Ow! This looks really painful!
No time to play around. A visit to the Monkey Ruins was next.
She made an offer...
... and then pranked around with soap. Classy, Iris.
She was quite pleased with herself. *lol*
The Monkey God, however, was not.
Eep!
Off we went to the secret lot, aka The Mysterious Hut.
There, Iris met the Witch Doctor, who’s quite a peculiar guy because he ran off for a nap and let Iris on her own between all kinds of broken stuff in his ugly-ass hut.
Even though she didn't have mechanical skills at all, Iris tried to help out repairing them.
This didn’t go so well, but luckily no deaths.
She did get lonely though. She’s spend two days there, trying to fix it all while Witch Doc was napping, so she got a visit from a social bunny.
Eventually everything was working again, so Witch Doc gave her a gift: a voodoo doll. Yay!
So then I figured the game needed locals to learn the ‘hang loose’ gesture and the Hula dance from. I created some and inserted them with the townie brick (quite a glitch thing. I removed it as soon as I was done.)
Here’s an example of a random local, wandering around. Iris learned the ‘Hang Loose’ gesture soon enough.
Getting all mementos is hard work, yo!
So another sand castle and marshmallows by the fire it was.
And some napping in the sun. Because that’s essential as well.
While I creating locals, I put a DJ-booth on a community lot to have a bit more fun. It’s obviously working. For some reason, when I created the locals, the game also instantly spawned tourists. I didn’t mind though. The island looked awfully deserted before.
After lots of hanging around and waiting for a local to start the hula dance, I decided to help out a bit. I put a stereo on the beach and hoped someone would start the dance there. Eventually the girl in the pink skirt did and I made Iris rush over to join. She got it soon enough, and with that, all mementos for Twikkii Island were filled (I think).
So she checked out...
... and went back home to order the album with all her pictures taken.
Proof or it didn’t happen!
And with this, Iris completed 1/3 holidays and 16/45 mementos. :D
