I'm a little bit confused. Is Azazel the one that gave humans weapons and taught them how to kill, or was he the one that taught humans how to defend themselves? Sorry, my head's just not working yet this morning.

Both.

Azazel taught mankind to make weapons and use them against each other. So some people would see that as a good thing and worship him. Which is where the church in New Orleans come in. If you thought having weapons was a good thng, then Azazel would be a good thing. But if you think by teaching us to kill each other was bad then he'd be a bad thing.

I love the ocnversation btween the brothers about the "faithful son" I could feel for Dean having to hear that for Sam! This is so awesome, I'm lovin' it!
