Your Eleven is ridiculously in character. I can hear him saying every line in my head. And Rory is always awesome.

Oh, this is adorable!! Love the way it builds up, with the reader, like Rory, wondering why the Doctor is acting the way he is, until the clues start adding up. Love the way you've written Rory's interaction with the Doctor, too - I love fics that showcase their odd sort of friendship, which this one does very nicely. Well done!

Okay... you have enabled me in a fantasy of mine--to go exploring the Underground with the Doctor! Not quite the aim of your fic, I imagine, but a fun result! I can just so see him saying "The Tube is cool".

I'll admit, a good part of the reason those Tube scenes are there is because I want the Doctor to make the Underground make sense to me. I was in London exactly once, and I got terribly, horribly lost every time I was anywhere on or near the Tube (which was always). I'm pretty sure he's one of the only ones who could make it seem like it made sense. (-:

Oh my goodness! This is marvellously, truly wonderful (and I've been waiting so patiently. Or not). Very well written, in character, and the dialogue just sparkles. You have captured the awkward, beautiful friendship between Rory and the Doctor so well.

Favourite parts; stories. Of course it would be stories. Making the world a bigger place. Amy catching them. And the ending. Perfect. All of it.

Oh my! Your Eleven voice is so charming and spot-on! I laughed out loud at the image of him chewing five sticks of bubblegum at once just so he could explain the space-time continuum to Rory. He so would! Also, not enough depictions in fic of Amy being a high-powered perfume businesswoman. She really is suited to that job.
