I know that this is Jack/River, but it’s the background relationship between Jack and the Doctor that really powers this fic for me. Nice.

I ship Jack/River like a mad thing and I'm always happy to see more of it in the world. As jessicaqueen said, the Doctor's presence is very much felt in this story, even though he never appears.

Omigosh... Your Jack and River are so much fun together! I can see them being an unstoppable (and irresistible) force that can make Eleven quake in his shoes. :)
