I enjoyed this. It's done what the program failed to do: it gave me a sense of the ganger!Eleven being a unique being, someone that I might be interested in following. I always found that the ganger!Eleven was a rather empty being with nothing of interest other than being a carbon copy of the original Eleven, that is, questions of Flesh rights aside (which is a meta-issue, not a Doctor issue). But you have shown him changing, reacting, wondering, and his relationship with Jack sets him apart. Thank you for this.

I agree that the treatment of the Flesh!gangers and their personalities was very superficial in this two-parter, despite all the lip-service to the morality of treating them like people, etc. I found the concept interesting and wanted to play with it. Thanks for reading and commenting.

I don't often read DW fic but thought to check out this fest and was intrigued by the pairing/summary. And then the story sucked me in right away! This was wonderful, beautifully written. I'm not even a fan of 2nd person POV, and I'm only saying this because I love when authors make me like something I thought I didn't - and you definitely did! Seriously loved the 2nd person narration here. :) And I loved the characterisations, your exploration of ganger!Eleven, and Jack. Thanks for a great read!

Haha, I'm always happy to tempt people to the dark side (whether that be the Doctor Who fandom or second person POV). Thanks for the lovely comment.

This is amazing - the premise, the POV, the plot, all of it, just top-shelf stuff. And I have the feeling I know exactly who wrote it, too . . .

No, I didn't actually - but it makes total sense!

I want to hug this fic so hard and never let go.

You know, I just might continue with this. It was so much fun to write that I can't quite get it out of my head. I appreciate the encouragement.
