Last weekend was really good. It was nice to see everyone in Davis and just hang out. I love Davis. I could definitely live there. Same with Sacramento. We went to Gold Rush Days in Old Sac and that was okay, but it was really freakin' hot and there weren't even that many people there. I knew you were gonna respond to this entry too! Haha. I just read in the paper that the fire is located east of Morgan Hill. So you're fine.

I also read that the smoke from that fire is being blown mostly towards Monterey, so the smoke we're getting here in Livingston is actually coming from another fire burning all the way up in Plumas County! It must be a huge fire up there if the smoke is coming all the way down here. I've never seen this much smoke before. The sun is all red and creepy.

Your dream is incredible. Steve Irwin is thoroughly the man, and fast, bitey hippos sound dangerously awesome.

Your flying reminds me of the way that I fly in dreams as well. I never fully fly, but it seems like I skip or bound really high into the air before coming down.

Thats so funny too because I was in Portland with the band, and Sean was in my car there and didnt even mention you visiting! Hope you had lots of fun!
