There is not enough love in the world for this two parter. From DT's hair to the pure JOY AND SQUEE AND WIN that is, well, everything.

And the mortgage conversation is the same as the "I love you" I think, in that it's the absolute truth of the matter (of course they'd share a house, of course they love each other) but actually verbalising it is the scary bit because it requires admitting it.

Besides, when she says "Stuck with you, that's not so bad" he has the sweetest little smile EVER and I sort of melt...

Yes! There is so much other good stuff I didn't mention. The supporting cast! The Doctor's tie! (I kind of felt like I reached my limit there, what with pointing out both the hair and the shoes.)

*nods*

Exactly. I just... can't imagine these two ever separating by choice. It's awkward, but probably because they've gotten so good at avoiding actually discussing what's happening between them.

AWWWWWWW! *huggles them*

There is no such thing as pointing out too many things about the Doctor's prettiness.

And Rose would totally get some awesome job working for Torchwood in the future and live in some posh penthouse apartment and the Doctor would just move in and never leave and hope to not actually have to talk about the matter.

Hee! He so would. He'd slowly start hanging his ties in the closet and hope that she wouldn't notice when he started stealing all her bath salts. :D

Black/lint OTP!

Woooooo! :D

I adore these episodes. I think one of my favorite moments is when Rose is on the comm and it momentarily gives out just as she curses. lol

Hee. I love that, too. And the face the Doctor makes. *squishes them together*

It really amuses me that the Doctor pulls out the sonic screwdriver against the Ood. What’s he going to do? Blink them to death? Make them play fetch?

I know! Oooh, you two are so scary! No, really! A chair and a screwdriver are FIERCE! :D

It’s hardly proof that she’s busy plotting evil schemes to domesticate him.

Heh. No. After all, he's the one who brought up the whole house thing in the first place. Rose just suggests they share it. We've seen time and again how much Rose loves TARDIS life, and to translate this into her really wanting the Doctor to move out of the TARDIS to a white picket fence is a bit odd.

That being said, after seeing Last of the Time Lords where the Doctor was ready to chuck his lifestyle out the window to become the Master's jailer -- he pretty much lept at it -- now he'd probably run like hell towards that white picket fence if it meant Rose would be there. Not that I'd want him to abandon TARDIS life or I think Rose would want him to. I'm just sayin'.

There is no doubt that Rose loves her life ( ... )

BWAH! And now I'm picturing the following phone call:

Erm, Rose? How's your day going? Brilliant. Um...don't come home for the next 4 hours... Better make it 5. There's been an incident. Well, more of a slight disturbance. Involving food. Jam to be exact. Ooh, Jack's here with the team now. Gotta run! Hopefully not literally.

HAHAAHAAHAHA OMG.

A few days later, Ten and Rose will go out on a date while Torchwood attempts to watch the baby.

I kinda adored the mortgage conversation. It's an interesting move after the stuff in School Reunion. Not many ships in TV really get past the UST, these two did.

Me, too! And I think its almost sweet, in its own little way. It's awkward, but it's enough to show that they're going to stick together, no matter what.

HE...says..."I'd have to get a house." And why? Why would he have to get a house? With carpets and doors? The Doctor of old would have said, "Oh, well, I can still travel. Hitch a ride on a tramp spaceship and go exploring." This Doctor says, "I'd have to get a house."

Why?

Because he asks her what THEY are going to do. And she tells him...find a planet, get a job...live a life. He'll need a house for that. Rose is still thinking they will live separately.

Oooh. Oooooh. That's a great point. I'd always seen the Doctor as having a bit of a freakout there, but you are right - he does bring it up first, and he'd really have no reason to say "house" unless he was thinking about a place where he and Rose would have to live together. Otherwise, it could have been "space ship" or "cool boat" or whatever goes through the Doctor's head in a matter of seconds. :D

And when she says, "Stuck with you. That's not so bad" he looks pleased, not harried or trapped. And if there was ever any doubt...which there shouldn't be because HE started it ( ... )

"They haven't been called a couple since S1...and there, as Rose-haters like to point out "they deny it"...well...here, they don't."

Ha, I never thought about it that way! Good point :-)

About the house thing: yeah, all she said was maybe they could 'share' after it was brought it. Um, that's not pressuring somebody! So, yeah, I agree with you!

*siiigh* I meant 'brought up.' I guess I'm tired and seem to have mixed 'bought it' and 'brought up' together. Heh, yeah.
