1. So this is the end of Mickey's journey on the Tardis. Looking back, what do you think of his character arc? How does this story fit into that arc? How does he fit into the Doctor/Rose dynamic?I'm in the "feeling sorry for Mickey" camp for the most part; I think he did get the short end of the stick, even though he was as immature as Rose in some instances. I'm also a little puzzled as to why he decided to ask to join the Doctor and Rose on their travels, when he must have known that he was going to be a fifth wheel and an outsider. It wasn't that the Doctor and Rose were an exclusive little club (as they are accused of being); Jack did just fine with them for a time. There was just something awkward about Mickey's presence specifically, for all of them, because of Mickey and Rose's prior relationship ( ... )

1. I also grew to be very fond of Mickey by the end of this two-parter. The Doctor began to see potential in Mickey and wanted Mickey to see it through for himself. It's a good example of the Doctor attempting to fix something/allow someone's full potential to be actualized even if it seems unsettling at first (Possible Spoiler - Eleven trying to fix Amy and Rory's relationship was a terrible example of this ( ... )

Sorry to go off-point, but I'd just like to say -- WHO ON EARTH COULD HEAR JOHN LUMIC TALK AND NOT REALIZE HE WAS SOME SORT OF SUPERVILLAIN??? I mean, jeez, people, he was wafting evil genius vibes detectable miles away.

Also, I know that I may be completely alone in this, but I don't care for Ten in a tux. (I'm very sorry! Please don't take away my fangirl card...)

OMG I know, I'm sorry. Honestly, it's just that I'm not a big fan of tuxedos in general. But I swear I'm one of the faithful!
