I really need to catch up on the rewatch. Stupid overtime...

I'm definitely a 'go either way' person. Sometimes I think there's no way they're NOT shagging in the TARDIS and I hunt up fic with that interpetation. Other times, I'm just not in a romantic mood. I wonder which way I'll go when I watch the pisode this time?

I still crack up over the one interview RTD gave where he said that he didn't think that towards the end of Series 2 that the Doctor and Rose were spending nights aboard the TARDIS.

He may well have just been saying it to tweak DT (bless his chaste l'il heart), but I know it's inspired more than one fic. XD

I'm actually perfectly fine with reading fics that have them involved really any time in season 2. However on the show I don't think they were. But I wouldn't read fanfic if I thought it had to follow canon! (or enjoy all kinds of Ten-pairings)

Physically speaking, I think the UST remained exactly that - unresolved - till Journey's End. Having said that, it doesn't stop me from reading (and writing) fic that completely flies in the face of that.

There are things that I don't consider canon that I can't even tolerate in fic form, but this is not one of them. I've written it, I've read it plenty, but I don't think that was the impression canon was trying to give. I certainly wouldn't argue with anyone who has a different interpretation, though.

A more accurate answer for me WOULD have been "I don't mind reading the odd fic," but I was just terribly drawn to the all-caps firmness of 'NO. NOT BEFORE JOURNEY'S END. NO.' It cracks me up.
