So apparently I suck at quitting jobs. I went and spoke to my store manager about me going overseas, thinking I was fired and he was all "WHAAA NO... So would you say Touching Evil is worth watching? I'm looking for things Nicola's been in, we don't get to see her a lot on our TV screens over here, except for Spooks...

I think everything Nicola is in is worth watching... so yes. As I said though, in my opinion her acting picked up exponentially in Spooks years so later stuff like Luther ep, Being Human, Law and Order UK, radio plays of this time period, The Turn of the Scew, Oliver Twist are REALLY special, especially given the minimal screen time in some.

Chalk and Touching Evil are both very early things I would reccomend because they highlight a very different Nicola :)

I read many posts about Nicola in Being Human, so I think I'll try to watch it. Touching Evil sounds nice, I read a bit about the plot. :)

I've also seen her in a movie called "Shooting Dogs" and a TV drama called "Torn". Both were during the Spooks years, as you call them, and she was fantastic, especially in "Torn" (her part in "Shooting Dogs was minor, but memorable).

Being Human is really good! Luther is my favourite Nicola performance and is possibly the best female performance I have ever seen on TV!

I watched the first ep of Torn and gave up. I need to be emotionally prepared first methinks. How did you watch Shooting Dogs? I haven't been able to find that.

Touching Evil is said to be the precursor to CSI and other shows of the like. I love crime drama and am enjoying so far.
