I got them, but the internet at the hotel here is being a complete pain in the ass and not working properly so AIM won't connect (and the web is flaky too). It sounds like we really don't know anything more though. Nobody else really responded to my post either. If I put in for a private room, I'm responsible for it irrelevant of whether I get the people to fill it- so I'm not going to put in the request for it unless I know that I'm going to have people to fill it and I won't potentially be left paying $120 or so per night for the room if nobody else stays in it.

Basically we have 8 people *confirmed*. Thing is, talking to some of them, they want the cheapest option possible and so a $50 increase is probably not the best thing. At the same time, if we somehow procure two rooms (like I said I don't know...have to talk to Otakon folks we knwo) that would lower things.

Also perhaps more roommates...I'll have to talk to people I guess (and you too) because frankly once you get beyond 6 people, I get a little annoyed and cramped and we're just above that so I'm actually in favor of splitting up if possible so don't get me wrong there.
