Wow, that's retarded...

So thanks to castortroysd I'm caught up on Naruto and I think I know what chibimofo was talking about in his last post. The way the story is going is beyond retarded, makes absolutely no sense and it just seems like the creator is now just pulling crap out of nowhere and making things up that don't make sense.

SERIOUSLY.

Hawk...lawl.

I'm still gonna read it since I don't watch or read any other animu. :/

I hadn't read it in a while, and this piqued my curiousity.

...

I feel like I'm reading fanfiction from a thirteen-year-old.

REVERSAL

wash, rinse, repeat.

Blah. I hate it when I can predict what's going to happen, and when an author is going out of his way to use his characters to justify the stupid reversals, well...BLAH.

Yeah basically something dramatic and big happens and then he reverses it in a "OH YOU DIDN'T REALLY KNOW" and repeat. It's getting really dumb and redundant and I just want it to end.

I know...

This turn of events doesn't bother me too much...as obnoxious as it is, it does set the stage for a confrontation between Naruto and Sasuke (especially if Naruto becomes Hokage sooner rather than later), which I am glad to see because Sasuke is in the market for a new purpose in life.

The semi-recent revelation involving Kabuto's new role in the story bothered me more. I thought "he" was dead. :/

Yeah I mean I agree with the parallelism and whatnot, but he's really stretching it to get things going or to have purpose. I thought the conclusion of the last fight might actually 'free up' Sasuke and like get back to the main story, but nope...

Maybe it's me...I think he is STILL in the main story but on a different track. Ever since he left I've been expecting this HUGE climatic insane rematch between the two of them. But I was expecting it to happen before the last fight. He'd still have a reason to stay away from Konoha.

The last fight may have freed him up...but to do what? That's what got me confused. He has no real business with Akatsuki...there's the Kabuto thing but I have no clue where that's going (and it almost seems senseless to have Sasuke deal with that...again). We know the rematch is coming and now we have a motivation from one party to make it a fight to the death.

Of course the power of friendship will conquer all in the end. :P

Though my impression was that Kishimoto was having a hard time trying to find something to motivate him and came up with this since there is very little previous evidence to back it up....

Well I understand how it keeps him in the story and keeps the parallelism with the Sannin, but...it's stupid how he's connecting it. I guess it's optimistic of me to assume he'd actually end it soon (without totally frustrating me) and having the remainder just be them finishing off the Akatsuki, but no...he's going to just add random crap in about Konoha history and stuff.

BLECHHHHHH

Ok, so I was trying to figure out what the heck you guys were talking about and then realized you must be talking about the manga. You suck for not mentioning that! I could've stumbled across some major spoilers (more than I've already managed to stumble across on accident anyway) and that would've sucked! But, thanks for not being totally obnoxious and posting them anyway! ;-)

Yeah sorry, I meant manga. I heard the anime is in filler (again) which is odd since they have over 100 manga issues that they can animate. I'm waiting for the next fight in the anime (it involves my favorite character :P) and will watch that arc.

But yeah, I purposely didn't state details since I knew folks like you still watch the anime and don't read the manga.

...good news for you is, it doesn't get 'dumb' for quite some time. There are actually good things ahead in the anime.

Hasn't Kishimoto re-named it "Sasuke" yet? =P
