I don't know what to say. I want to say something deep and profound, but I can't find the words. I am glad that the pain has ended for you, but I was always hoping for a cure...

I never met Dances, but she has given me kind words that have helped me through some very rough times, even when she was having harder trials than me...I don't think I can put into words how much that meant to me. She has touched my life many times, and made it better.

Pengie, I can only begin to imagine the complicated emotions you must be wrestling with right now. I am glad that elusis is there for you. If there is ANYTHING I can do, please let me know: madaxes at hotmail dot com.

I knew Dances and Pengie before they knew each other, I think. Not well, but a little. We were all on alt.fan.oingo-boingo together something like thirteen-fourteen years ago. I was young, really young.

We met up a couple of times. I organized a wake for Oingo Boingo where a bunch of the fans got together at Disneyland together. We went to the Haunted Mansion at midnight, ran together singing Boingo songs through the park.

I remember when she got the name "Dances With Cars" - her "Indian name," a story about having been stared at while grooving in traffic one day.

We lost touch, but she found me again here on LJ a few years ago. She was already sick so we never met up in person again, but I was always glad to hear from her. I knew she didn't have that long here given her conditions, but I am so sorry to hear that she's gone so soon.

My deepest condolances go out to those she was close to. Please do post memorial information here, I'd like to do something for her family.

Thank you for posting this. I'm glad to hear that Pengie is probably going to stay with you; I know you'll do your best to make him remember to take care of himself.

I wish there was something more to say or do. Words are so inadequate.
