Six of Cups, Reversed dakotawitch April 14 2010, 04:58:58 UTC
Your card is the Six of Cups, Reversed. In this card, chalices overflowing with pink flowers stand in courtyard and on the garden wall of a house. This card typically signifies a sense of nostalgia or longing for the past, for the innocence of childhood. Since it appears in the reversed position, this card tells me that you may be working through issues stemming from your childhood or family of origin, in an attempt to create a sweet, loving, and stable home life. Awesome, thank you!

Very true, on both levels:

I'm working through a lot of childhood issues.

I've been cleaning the house and getting rid of a lot of clutter, AND working on boundaries.

Excellent card draw, thank you.

Could I have a card please? The last two were exceedingly helpful. I can't donate right now but will pay the favour forward (I always do!) :)

Your card is the Eight of Cups, Reversed, in which a woman walks along the beach, eight chalices behind her. She gazes into a night sky with a crescent moon. This card is most often about leavetakings and moving beyond what does not serve us emotionally. It sometimes signifies the end of a love relationship as well. Appearing as it does in the reversed position, this card tells me that you have already done the leavetaking, and may be having trouble moving past that pain to look at what is before you. If you recently ended a relationship (romantic or otherwise), you should rest in the knowledge that this was the healthiest and best decision for you. If the relationship ended through actions other than your own, also know that this was the best thing for your growth and health. This does not mean that the process will not be painful and troubling at times, however. It is important to take the time to honor that pain but not to wallow or let it bog you down. Focusing on what is before you will help you move past any lingering doubt or ( ... )
