But these wouldn't come anywhere near the quality of your Leela or Tegan!

Saw this just now and thought, really for a cheaper version of the costumes these are very good. And for the price even better
But hey its about time that they did something like this.

I'm not so sure how I feel about this...

IA. It's nice that Classic Who is being "mainstreamed" along with its younger counterpart, but... hrrn. Not sure this is the way I'd've liked it to be done.

Tegan's airline outfit is made from the wrong material.

Yeah it looks like cheap polyester, which is expected for the price. Plus it would probably never fit me.

I'm really disappointed with the amount of premade costumes either domestically or from China.

I'm not an elitist in that I would deny someone the chance to have fun if they weren't able to make or buy / thrift the pieces of their costume. But for me, I'm not happy with the way conventions have turned mostly into fancy dress parties.

Of course I've been doing this for nearly 25 years now *gasp* and I remember an age when the emphasis was more on creativity.

I think its great seeing Classic Who being openly avalible for the masses. And while I'm not a big Tegan fan, that outfit is rather cute!

It'd probably pass slightly more muster if you had your own screen-accurate scarf, but agreed.
