From The Mod: Um. Eep.
Greetings!
Despite the multiple warnings I received about the industry moving at a glacial pace, I have just landed myself a job on a cruise ship (nothing terribly exciting, but the environment will be exciting enough) and I have to ship out over Thanksgiving weekend. (So much for "It could take up to three months to land you an assignment". ;))
I will have access to the 'net, but it will be sporadic. It's a seven-day workweek and even for employees, 'net access will cost money, so I will probably be limited to whatever free WiFi I can scrounge on shore - during the rare times I can go on shore.
With that in mind, it's time to put out a call for a couple of co-mods for the community to help look after it while I'm running off to sea.
If you're interested, send me a PM and let me know the following:
- Your LJ handle (obviously)
- Your full name
- Your email address
- An idea/tweak in policy that you'd like to suggest (y'know, give me an idea of that 'vision thing')
Incomplete messages will be ignored.
I'm looking to decide this pretty quick, so do let me know, asap!
PS - this means no Chicago TARDIS and no Gallifrey for me. But, heck, I'll be working in the Caribbean and the Mediterranean, I suppose that makes up for it. A bit.
