*Waves Shyly* Another Fem!Ten...
Ummm...Hi all! This is my first time posting to this community...though I've been lurking and stalking for the past two or three weeks...reading up on everything I can to potentially make my own Fem!Ten costume. Before I ask my question (which I hope hasn't already been asked somewhere and I didn't see it) I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has posted the absolute WEALTH of information on such a costume. It's been a really great help and it's made this whole process very fun for me :3
I've never...uh....cosplayed before, so I'm 'new' to the whole scene as well. My friends have always cosplayed...from Naruto to Firefly to a number of different things, some of them even animal characters. I've always wanted to...but never got enough modivation to get started on anything...So...yeah. That's changed obviously XD
I have not been able to find ANY Women's suits that have brown with cyan/powder blue pinstripes. NONE. Well...I did find one for $40 bucks that made me nearly soil myself with glee...but of course...it was sold out....So I've decided to try to find the fabric myself and then find someone who could make the suit for me. I'm aware of how expencive this whole process is going to be. I figure Rome wasn't built in a day...and neither will my Ten costume.
Ok..I'm Babbling...
My question is this. For those of you who have made your own suits (or even if you just know)...If I miraculously find the right fabric...how many yards should I buy?
I was talking to my friend and she said 6-7 yards...but I still want to make sure...
ALSO...in the event that I don't find what I'm looking for...Does anyone know if I can contact Magnoli Clothiers in reguards to buying some yards of fabric from them? I apologize if this has been answered before...
