bah! you beat me to it. :P been eying a scion or cube to tardis-ify. fortunately, you're in NY and i'm in CO, so i can still get my tardis car out here!

I've been wanting this since late 2009 but only recently were finances secure enough to follow through. The Nissan Cube is cuter than the Toyota Scion Xb, but also newer, rarer and more expensive.

Next step is to paint it bluer!

that's the problem with the cube - none in tardisy colors! i've also considered getting a smart car, but i can't fit as much stuff in it. :P

Awesome! Careful though there's this guy who owns a comic book shop near me who has a mini-van with a TARDIS painted on it and had TARDIS on his license plate but someone stole them, now they say Type 40. But I love it!

Thanks. TARD15 plates were available for New York, but I felt it had been done several times before, and the car already looks like a Tardis, it doesn't need another sign spelling it out. I use tamper-resistant screws to secure the plates.

OMG, that is amazing. I am totally jealous! As for meet ups, I don't know any that are currently happening after NYCC. I know where doing a photoshoot for Sunday. Afterwards, I can't say. Though, perhaps you can join the NY DW cosplay page. I know we occasionally do group get together to take pictures and hang out.

We went as a group during the summer. SO it might be to your interest.
