But if anyone would know the answer, I'm sure you guys would. Do the people on the show ever give out information on things like where they got the clothing they used or what makeup they used? I've looked on the BBC web site and the BBC America sites for Doctor Who and couldn't find anything like that

Great minds think alike! I brought my iPad with photos on it with me last week to a different counter, and they had nothing like it. Sigh. Which is why I desperately started searching again. I'll try those counters! And I LOVED the makeup in that ep!! Can I ask what you wound up using?

Sure!
Eyes: Cultured Pearl near the eyeliner, Nude Chic (or Chic Nude) on the lid, and a mid tone brown in the crease (I don't remember which one she used for this as I didn't buy that color, but I know they have a number of ones that would work perfectly well). She used black eyeliner and winged it a little like Amy's.
Cheeks: I don't remember the name, but it was one of their brightest pinks and she used it super lightly.
Lips: "Confidence" from their Pretty Amazing line. Amy's lips look different in every scene in this episode, and I brought in a screencap where her lips looked a fair bit brighter (the scene where she's at the gate picking where to go) than usual and this shade was perfect for that.

And you have the sweater! Where is it from?!

Wouldn't that be great in real life?
The real facts about the color-changing lipstick (and the color-changing clothing - is the skirt blue, green, brown?) is the magic of lighting.
The lighting they use often changes from scene to scene. If there's red lighting, everything red will look black. In blue lighting, all whites take on a blue cast.
The best way for your make-up to be screen accurate is to choose a screen cap, and do as remiem suggests - get makeup that makes your face look like that picture. Even if you know exactly which colors were used, it wouldn't be exact on your face unless you had the exact skin tone and body chemistry as Karen Gillan.

But, yeah, I do realize that, I was just trying to see if I could get as close as possible.
Thank you!!

Cool, I didn't know if your realized. One of my many hats is as a videographer, and I've often seen discussions on cosplay boards that get heated because someone IDs an item, buys it, gets it home, and finds out that in fluorescent light/daylight/incandescent light it doesn't look anything like the screen caps, and an alt or a different color might actually be more recognizable.
Makeup is even worse than clothes, because what's used on set might be great for doing photoshoots, but in life you'd look odd - once again, it's the lighting.

I do think I've pretty much perfected her S6 and S7 eye makeup and I keep wondering if I should do a tutorial, but I'm worried no one would care!

:)
I'm the pits at eye make-up when it comes to more than applying a little mascara and one shade of eyeshadow, so I should think many Amys would appreciate such a tutorial. :)

I couldn't find anything in MAC, and the finish looks a bit different, too.
If it helps, when I do her TATM look, I use a dab of Revlon's Cherries in The Snow as a tint, and then a bit of [also Revlon] Iced Amethyst to get the sheen she has.
