Dragon*Con costumes & Whovians on parade

I attended Dragon*Con for the first time this year. There were so many Doctor Who cosplayers! Everywhere I looked, I'd see a 10, an 11, an Amy, a River, etc.

Here's the Whovian section of the 2012 Dragon*Con parade (I hear that's the second largest section after the 501st Star Wars group). I apologize for the camera moving, I kept getting bumped

I did "Eleventh Doctor from a parallel universe where she is as sexy as her TARDIS". ;) It was fun getting photos with the other Whovians out there!

Did anyone else hear snide remarks? I got a couple of glares paired with "everyone is dressing up like the Doctor" which made me sad. Still, I enjoyed it despite others being downers about it. It's a well-loved series, y'all. Get over it. :)

My SO ran into a cosplayer in the DW'verse who might have said something along the lines of that there were many DW costumes out there, but really it was difficult to tell if they liked seeing so many cosplayers, or if they thought that too many people were into the DW'verse. *shrugs*

The sonic screwdriver costume is brilliant. And I had to take several moments going "Awwwwwww!" over the baby Dalek.
