I'd classify this as an interest thread and not a full selling thread. However when you do plan to officially sell these please defer to the sales comm.
As for price? Well Cloth Ears charged 650 GBP or about $950-$1000 in today conversion rates when they used to offer this. That was deluxe high end. HonestDragon would charge at least $150 for the coat alone but you usually dealt with an $80 shipping charge on top of that. There is no current mid range for this coat. Though if Baron ever decided tackled this it would easily be one of their $400-$500 offerings.
I'd weigh up your fabric costs, labor time from start to finish and what your time is worth and use that as your basis. The closer you can get it to the Honest Dragon price the better as that seems to be the thriving Cosplay market right now in this economy.
I'd agree with honorarydoctor and probably aim somewhere in the $250-350 range, maybe even offering a cheaper $250 version where you cut some corners and a nicer $350 one or something.
