Sooo I started on my dog's K-9 costume last month, about a week or so ago I spray painted it. Problem is, when I checked on it a few days later, it was dry but I still got some spray paint on my hands. Obviously I don't want to put this on my dog if it didn't dry properly. Does anyone know why it would do that? I used it on cardboard boxes. Anyone

The reason I used spray paint was just because it was easier, but I might just try acrylic. It is non-toxic when dry, right?

There are things specifically meant to seal over paint so it doesn't come off like you mentioned above. They will explicitly state that they are for sealing. They are usually clear (unless you get one specifically otherwise) and can come in spray form, which you'd probably prefer, considering you sprayed to start with.
