Hi!

I have been curious about the original Boomtown scarf Vs. the rerelease. Anyone on here have the real one? I was wondering how long it is and how wide it is. It looks thin in the show but I was wondering if it's folded over. I have a really great New York and Co. one but I have been thinking about buying the rerelease.

Thoughts?

That was the Free People scarf, right? Best thing might be to dig back through the comm around the time the episode came out. I'm still working on tagging those early posts with the new style of tags, but try rose, rose tyler, episode: boom town, and scarf, and see what happens. I know that there was one post way back that compared the two with pictures maybe. Good luck!

I THINK it was by Free People, and it was called the fairytale forest scarf, if that helps. :)

The post that originally compared the two seems to have been deleted, so here's my observations of the two:

The re-release (Fairy Tale Forest) is a completely different pattern and is shorter and wider. Color-wise it's very similar, but as they were released years apart it's not exact.

Measurements! The release is about 56-57" long (not including the fringe) and 11.5-12" wide. The original is about 76-77" long (again, not including the fringe) and 6.6-7" wide.
