Hrm. I'll have to call. I just think it would be funny to not mention it at all and see how many people notice especially if if I can get something small that makes that kind of noise. :D
Thanks. A friend pointed out her outfit in the season finale and I looked and then I wore the tunic and had an 'oh snap' moment when I realized that they were very similar.
your hair looks really good in that second picture.
I think Donna's wacky jewelry choices are pretty important to getting the point across. The hoops are paramount, and the Silence in the Library weird giant necklace might be the finishing touch that makes it feel pulled together. Make sure to post pictures of the completed look! I second this! Donna kicks ass, about time us curvy chicks had someone to cosplay as well. XD I'd just make the beetle myself, it's easy enough, if you use methods like these.
It doesn't look obvious in the photo and I wish my hair could look like that IRL but it's too thin. In person, yeah, it looks like a wig.
Though if you're going to Dragon*Con and you see a pudgy Donna walking around with a construction paper bug taped to a backpack, you can tell me in person. :D

Yeah. I need a ring for the first outfit. Gold hoops will be easy. I'm honestly not sure about the necklace because I hate things around my neck.
And I wish I could do that black suit at D*C.

I made a little pterosaur for my Primeval costume in about four hours that way.

It'd be awesome if you could make the giant beetle double as a backpack, less to carry XD
