The Original Scarf was repeatedly stretched and shrunk over the course of the show. By the time that it was attached to the Duplicate Scarf for Season 16, it had acquired very pronounced ribbing. Are you on facebook? There's a great group called Stitches in Time (https://www.facebook.com/groups/stitchesintime/), and one member has done a great tutorial on wet blocking wool at https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=oa.195119423967928&type=1 and also has one on blocking acrylic.

I don't go on Facebook much, but I did see the tutorial. Using stitch markers to hang the weights from is a good idea. I'll have to try it while blocking my next scarf.

I used sturdy metal knitting needles to block mine, threading them through each end evenly. worked a treat!
