Going up the Rhine and then detouring onto the Moselle we spent a rather drizzly and dreary day being enchanted by the castles along the rivers.

ooh, pretty castles! i'd love to do a trip to germany (particularly the south) some time, but i think travelling any distance is going to be off the cards for a little while now!
