He never claimed to be a romantic, yet he always seemed to be helping people in that department. He gave Ian and Barbara a getaway in a charming Roman Villa. Saw Susan have a chance for a new beginning. Let Vicki go with the man she’d fallen for, even though it might break Steven’s heart when he’d recover. Insure Ben and Polly had some time together on that space station.
He fell in love on occasion. The sorrow afterwards broke his hearts, but there was always his first love.
He patted the TARDIS Console with affection. “Yes... I’m a Matchmaker it seems, dear girl.”
