Book update. Finished Crome Yellow by Aldous Huxley a couple nights ago. Very thought provoking read. I have the distinct feeling that a lot of the symbolism and such went over my head, but some of the concepts came through. Though at times boring, it was relaxing but at the same time kept my mind working.

Yeah, I was raised in a private christian school and am still surrounded by mostly christian friends. Where when one of them goes on birth control to get her period straight, she freaks out and tells everybody "Don't get the wrong idea!!!!!"

Exactly, how could something so natural be a sin? I just don't understand how a paper from the government then makes everything okay. It's like "Okay, what does that paper even mean? Or do you people care?" Don't get me wrong, I don't have a problem with people waiting till they're married, I just don't see the point anymore. Why should someone's god care what they do with their body as long as their heart and soul are in the right place with the right intentions?
