I've always loved it when Miranda is unable to say what she means and mean what she says. The dichotomy you've sketched out between thought and action are so compelling and really give a great portait of Miranda as a person. I especially loved the stilted-ness of her and Andy's conversation. Its real and awkward but there.

My favorite was when she Miranda talks about how before Andy she didn't have to pretend like former assistants didn't exist. In one simple line you really gave us how incredibly difficult Andy's effect on Miranda has been. You apply the "show me, don't tell me" rule of writing beautifully.

Nicely done. I really liked the third (lol) paragraph and how she thinks that three is a cursed number.
