Miúcha - Pela Luz Dos Olhos Teus
It seems like a familiar guest wanted to be low key last evening! Miranda Priestley, wearing a fabulous black Prada most of us only dream about (and looking as gorgeous as ever), went to the opera. But she was in one of the upper boxes, and word says she wasn’t alone.
It has been over two years that the Dragon Lady was last seen in the company of a male, making us all wonder who she’s hiding. We can only guess who’d be her mysterious escort - or should we say… secret affair?
---
Andy shivers in anticipation and holds Miranda’s hand. It’s okay, really, no one can see them. Miranda smiles just the tiniest bit; it’s perceptible that the older woman’s holding her breath. Then it begins, and it’s beautiful and intense and so vivid, so real before Andy’s eyes.
Andy thinks for a second that the awards the main singer received are well deserved. He’s handsome, with a powerful voice and curly hair. The plot goes on, moving and touching; it makes the brunette think about many aspects of her life. She looks at her side and Miranda is absorbed by everything as well.
The journalist thinks that she’s lucky to have this opportunity. To sit beside her lover, hold her hand and understand a little bit more of her heart. Andy loves to unravel the older woman layer by layer, finding out what makes Miranda the person she is today.
She sighs contently, looking at the editor once more before focusing on the love story taking place at the stage. Andy doesn’t realize it, but she spends the entire first act with Miranda’s hand beneath hers, its warmth and softness coexisting with the scenes developing in front of her.
