What if someone was to successfully kidnap Miranda? (stop laughing, i'm serious)

The reincarnation of two beings destined for love.
--witch burnings and a spell was cast to find each other again
--or just were so restless that they floated around and finally 'possessed' Miranda and Andy (more or less sharing the body until they decide to work together)
