Ahem. Just to say, with no exageration whatsoever, I am about to start my
200th
(yes that is two, zero, zero) reading of the Lady and Her Dragons.

I think it's only my 90th time re-reading TLaHD. Bearblue is an amazing author :)

Ooooo many bowings and scrapings to the Mirandy Dandy Artist then. Thanks so much. I've posted the graphic before and made sure peeps knew it wasn't mine. (I couldn't draw a straight line to save my life and as to picture type software? well all I can say is BUTTONS!! NOOOOOO!!!!)

So kudos and i shall adjust my little file sosss I can put your name on it.

Yeah I'm not too great at drawing realism. Usual drawings I do from my head are quick and are ok but I'm better when someone gets me to slow down and have examples to draw from. But I'm great at collage type things. The site I used is called polyvore.com
It may look like just a fashion site but it's also an art site (though that doesn't get as much promotion as fashion of course because it can't earn them money really...).

We should all post how many times we've read it. I can say I honestly think I will have the read because at a minimum I've read it at least once a week for the past 18 months, and obviously sometimes more than once a week. heh

The only downside is that every time I get to the end of chapter 16, I get sad because there isn't any more.. :(

I love this one! Oh, who are we kidding, I love all of bearblue's fics. I usually go visit that site at least once a week in hopes of seeing an update and I rearead those fics often (but not 200 times). I discovered "On a Tractor," and after gobbling that one up, proceeded to read every single fic there in one day. Fabulously talented. I hope seeing lots of comments here will make bearblue know how much all that talent is appreciated in DWP-land.

Speaking of updates--and this is NOT a poke, really just wondering--any chance we'll see more Lord of the Nile?

That story is definitly one of my favorites, and I absolutely read anything I can find that Bearblue has written. I have no idea how many times I have read that fic, but it's a lot. I guess I too will have to start keeping count.

oh, and desperately hoping for it to be continued....

Okay, I have to say...when I saw the email notification with the title "The Lady and Her Dragons", I was damn near giddy at the thought that you might have found a link to a new chapter. :-(
