I wanted to take a moment and let folks know that I'm back, at least for the holidays. And I even come baring gifts!

I've added a little MAC story to the Winter Wonderland Ficathon. Totally PG-13 and safe to read anywhere.

And terrible me forgot to give the kudos so well deserved to the fabulous Jazwriter13, along with Gin Akasarahsmom, dhamphir, ryoshu and shesgottaread, for suffering through so many readings as I first wrote and then sweated bullets over whether to ever post Darkest of Days or not. You turn dross to gold and I thank you all.

Also to Jazzy for making my MACs sing. The red has gotten smaller over the years, but you can still manage to find my lapses. You're da bombe, jaz.

I started in 2008. Sent it to jazzy for the first time in 2010 after I had offered a single reading of it for an auction. I tweaked it again in 2011 when I first started to think about a public posting and sent it back to jaz. It's finally posted now, in 2012.

I thank you. I'm a bit worried I'm going to end up on the naughty list for making all ya'll cry. But I think this might be the best thing I've ever written and it totally stifled me to keep holding it back. I'm so glad you liked it.
