A Week Later.

Jersey City.

Miranda looked down at the address on the piece of paper she had written earlier that morning, before she looked back at the house she was parked in front of to make sure again that she had indeed found the right house.

Seeing that it was indeed Lot 2252. She pulled her keys out of the ignition of her Porsch and sat back as she stared at the house that was Andrea's childhood home. She took in the shabby barb wire fence that looked like it was nearly ready to fall over, the white small two story house that wasn't exactly desirable looking, but she supposed she shouldn't judge the way it looked. Maybe it looks nicer inside.

Knowing there was only one way to find out, she took her bag from the passenger seat before donning her sunglasses and stepped out of her car. She pushed at the barbwire gate and it opened, letting her step into the yard. She walked up the short path, up to the door. She could hear the sound of a tv on inside, and she could hear someone moving about, like they were running, and heard a tapping sound and laughing, like a small child was playing on the other side of the door.

"Andrea, are you doing those dishes yet?"

Miranda heard a womans voice, faintly, from inside the house.

"Mum, that's the fifth time you've asked me since I woke and I keep telling you everytime that I will get to them once I've finished off my article!" Andrea's voice was heard, and even though it sounded like the brunette was in a shitty mood, Miranda couldn't help the smile that formed on her face from hearing her lovely voice.

There was no response from the other woman that had asked about the dishes and she decided that it was time for her to knock, before she started to look suspicious standing at the door in front of the Sach's household.

Miranda raised her hand and knocked on the door.

"Who's at the door?"

The other womans voice was heard after she knocked.

"Well gee, I don't know Mum cause I haven't looked yet!" Miranda heard Andrea reply.

Miranda waited a couple more seconds before the door was opened and she was finally seeing the woman who occupied her thoughts again.

~*~

Andy looked at the door when she heard someone knocking on it and wondered who on earth it would be at this time of morning. If it was another Avon person asking if she wanted to buy something from them she was sure she would pull her hair out.

"Who's at the door?" The brunette heard her mother's voice from upstairs.

"Well gee, I don't know Mum cause I haven't looked yet!" Andy replied, getting frustrated with her mother. She stood from the computer chair and wandered over the door, past her brother, and unlocked the door before pulling it open. Whoever she had been expecting it hadn't been who she saw.

"Miranda, what are you doing here?" Andy asked, clearly shocked. She knew she sounded rude, but Miranda's arrival had not been expected. "I mean, shouldn't you be in Paris?"

"Techniquely, yes, but I left early." Miranda replied.

"Oh, okay." Andy replied, still shocked that Miranda was standing on her childhood doorstep in the middle of Paris Fashion Week.

"Are you going to let me in?" Miranda asked, looking over her shoulder and into the small house, before looking back at Andrea, a small smirk as she watched the emotions cross Andrea's beautiful face.

"Ah, of course." Andy said, blushing a little at not already asking the older woman in, and stepped aside, opening the door farther. She breathed in Miranda's signature perfume when she walked past her, and she sighed softly, having missed the intoxicating scent. She then looked around the place, which looked like a tornado had hit it, but she knew there was nothing she could do about it now. "Sorry about the mess, we weren't expecting a visit from La Priestly, or else I'd have cleaned a bit." she said, looking apologetically at the older woman.

Miranda waved it away, not caring about the state of the house, just enjoying being in the young woman's presence again.

"So, ah, what are you doing here?" Andy asked when Miranda remained quiet.

"To talk to you of course." Miranda said, watching as a boy, possibly a couple years younger than Andrea, clad in only a pair of underpants was running back and fourth from the kitchen counter to the table by the window, tapping the wooden spoon he held in his hand on both surfaces each time he reached them before going back to the other surface and repeating his actions.

Andy closed the door before she watched Miranda. "That's Joshua, my brother." she said, wondering what Miranda was currently thinking.
"Is he.." Miranda trailed off, turning back to Andrea.

"Autistic? Yeah, I think it's pretty obvious, don't you?" Andy replied, walking farther into the small space.

"Andrea," Miranda caught up with the brunette and laid a hand on Andrea's arm. "I didn't mean anything by that."

Andy looked back into Miranda's eyes and saw the honesty in the blue eye's. "I'm sorry. I'm just so used to everyone staring and judging that I guess I didn't stop to think that you would be different." she said, feeling like a jerk to think Miranda would be like everyone else, when she so clearly wasn't..

"Andrea, who is it?"

Andrea's mother was heard again.

"A friend." Andy replied, while staring into deep blue eye's.

"I thought you said none of your friends were coming over for the holdays?" Andrea's mother replied.

Andy looked down at the floor and sighed. "Well, things change."

"I'm coming down." Her mother informed Andy.

Miranda watched as Andy nearly growled when she heard that, and marched over to the staircase. "No way, I just got you up there and you're not coming back down until dinner time!" Andy replied. "Doctors orders!" she reminded, before turning back to Miranda. "Sorry." she said, before looking around. "Um, please sit." she said, clearing some space from the small, cluttered, dining table for the older woman.

Miranda did so and regarded Andrea thoughtfully. She now understood part of the sadness in Andrea's eyes, knowing that having an Autistic brother must be extremely hard. But she knew the brunette's sadness went deeper than that, and she couldn't help but think it had something to do with the brunette's sister.

"Joshua, sit down and watch the tv, I didn't put it on for it to play to itself." Miranda watched Andy say firmly to her brother.

Andy looked over to the pile of dishes by the sink and sighed, knowing she would need to do them soon, but decided to sit down at the table.
A couple of seconds later both women watched as Joshua finally sat down on the floor and turned his attention to the tv while hitting the wooden spoon on the ground and rocking back and fourth.

A silence fell over the women. Miranda inspected her nails while Andy gazed out the back window, watching the washing as it slowly moved on the line. Just as she was about to open her mouth to speak, she saw her mother slowly hobbling down the staircase.

"Mum, what the fuck are you doing down here? You heard what the doctor said to you earlier, you need to rest your foot so it will heal!" Andy said when she saw her mother making her way slowly into the room with one of the crutches she'd been given.

The older brunette rolled her eyes. "Oh please, I'm fine." she replied.

"Yeah well, if you aren't able to walk properly in a couple weeks time because you won't stay off it, don't come complaining to me about it." Andy replied, watching as her mother eased herself down onto a chair at the table.

"Are you going to introduce me to your friend or are you going to continue being rude?" Andrea's mother asked, looking at the fashionably dressed older woman with curious eye's.

Andy sighed. "Mum, this is Miranda, Miranda this is my mother, Beth." she said, introducing the both of them.

"It's a pleasure meeting you." Miranda said, holding out a hand to Andrea's mother.

Beth took the offered hand. "Likewise." she said before she looked over to Andrea. "She's not the usual type you go for."

"Mum!" Andy said, her mouth dropping open.

"What? I'm just saying." Beth replied.

Before Andy could say anything, all three women heard Joshua's voice from where he still sat on the ground. "Andy loves Miranda. Andy loves Miranda!" he said and repeated it before laughing and tapping the wooden spoon several times on the floor in excitement.

Miranda blinked a couple of times, still not sure she could believe what she had heard, but Joshua repeated himself and she turned to Andrea.

"I think it's time we had that talk." Andy said softly.

Miranda nodded. "Mm. I agree."

Andy turned to her mother. "You aren't going to try and do any sorta house work while i'm away, are you?" she questioned.

Beth laughed. "I certainly know better because if I do I'll get it from you." she turned to Miranda. "And I tell you, it's not a pretty sight."

"Mum." Andy growled, before touching Miranda briefly on the arm. "Let's go."

Miranda nodded and started towards a door that had 'Andrea and Emma' on it, but was stopped by the brunette. "Not that room." she said, a little blankly, before heading towards the backdoor. "Out here." she said, stepping outside with Miranda.

"A caravan, Andrea?" Miranda asked, not sure what to make of this, as they came to a stop in front of a worn caravan.

"Yup. Both rooms upstairs are Mum and Joshua's and the attic is full of shit, so this is where I spent my teenage and early adult life." the brunette explained.

"But, you have a bedroom on the first floor back inside." Miranda replied, getting confused.

"And if you knew the reasons why I don't sleep in there, you would understand." Andy replied, putting the key inside the caravan door and opening it up and stepping up inside it. “Welcome to my humble abode!” she said, waving her hand around the small room, and threw her keys onto the table.

"You want a drink?" Andy asked, as she pulled open her small fridge and took out a bottle of Ice Tea.

"Just a small one, please." Miranda replied, as she watched the young woman a little while longer before looking around at the small space, at the small kitchen area, to the double bed on the right side, and a bathroom sort of area on the left. The walls were covered with Britney Spears, Lucy Lawless's Xena character, and all girl rock band posters. "I can't believe I'm about to say this, but you've done a great job with making this into a nice homey space."

Andy laughed. "Well thanks, that actually means a lot coming from New York's fashion queen." she said, smiling as she placed a glass of Ice Tea in front of the older woman. "I guess it's alright. It suited me well when I was younger." she continued, as she looked around the small space. "My place back in the Village is much more desirable than this, I assure you."

"You play Lacrosse?" Miranda asked, when she saw a photo of the brunette with a group of girls in a frame on a small shelve above the stove.

"Yeah, I do. That picture is when I first started out." Andy replied.

Miranda, not being able to help herself, stood to get a better look at the photo. She noticed how stick thin the brunette was in it, compared to how she looked today. Just as she was going to ask the brunette about it, she caught sight of a photo behind it.

"That's Emma and I on our 12th birthday." Andy said.

"You never said she was your twin." Miranda replied, turning around to face the brunette again. "Where is she now?" she asked. "Did she leave with your father?"

Andy didn't reply, but stood from the table and Miranda watched as the young woman walked over to another shelve and took off a beautifully decorated silver box. "Inside this box is where she is." she replied. "Her ashes." Andy said, confirming to Miranda what she began to realise.
"Oh Andrea.." Miranda said, moving to sit back down at the table, causing the brunette to stand back up again as if wanting to put distance between them.

"Please don't say you're sorry. I really don't need to hear it." Andy said, shaking her head.

The room was silent before Miranda had to ask. "How did it happen?"

Andy sighed, closing her eye's and the picture of what happened appearing behind her eye's, causing her heart to pound in her chest. "It was any usual afternoon at home with Mum at work.. she was a nurse back then.. and me being left in charge of the house.. Emma and I would take turns on who was in charge of the house while the babysitter arrived, and we were mucking around together. I decided I wanted a milk shake and because I was the one manning the house, I told her to make it for me. The blender was up in one of the top cupboards, and Emma had to get up on the counter to reach it. While she was up on the counter, we were talking and I said something to her which caused her to look over her shoulder at me causing her to fall off. Her head collided with the island counter, before she landed on the tiles. And I just stood there, staring at her, I'm still not sure for how long until I finally realised I needed to do something. I moved her into a sitting position, thinking it would help her, and then I called an ambulance, but by the time they came she'd lost too much blood..." she trailed off.
Miranda had raised a hand to cover her mouth in shock at how hard it must of been for Andrea, but then Andrea continued speaking, shocking her more.

"Until recently I've blamed myself for her death everyday." Andy said.

Miranda watched as Andrea tried to visibly calm herself, but failed.

"About three years ago I've onlyI realised that it wasn't exactly my fault, but I still blame myself." Andy continued. "So I started trying to commit suicide. I've cut myself, tried drowning myself, and tried standing in front of an oncoming train, it actually stopped when the driver saw me, can you believe that?" she shook her head. "Then when I was 17, I became involved with a gang, started drinking heavily and occasionally doing lines of cocaine. I moved back to New York a few years later, and when I was 23 I crashed my car into the Hudson River, you probably heard it on the news, and anyway that didn't kill me, so I ended up in hospital for a few months where I got hooked on morphine."

"I began to rely on morphine, I couldn't go any longer than two days without it. Oh god, It felt like I was flying, those were good days where I could just get out of myself for a bit," she said, before visibly shaking herself from thinking of the drug. "Mum found me one night just after I'd injected myself, and I was unwillingly comitted into a psychiatric hospital in Washington State. My Mum thought it was a good idea for me to recover out of New York. It took a while, but I was finally clean and luckily had no long term illnesses to deal with from the drug, and to keep my mind off relapsing I started playing Lacrosse and took up the guitar." she looked at the lacrosse photo. "That wasn't long after I got out of Washington so it's why I'm really thin in the picture." she explained to Miranda's unanswered question from earlier.

"So, that's it. My life story. You still want to be my friend?" she asked, tears now trailing down her cheeks at the thought of Miranda possibly not wanting anything to do with her.

Before Miranda could think better of it, she crushed her mouth against Andrea's, and the older woman whimpered, kissing back with just as much emotion.

Miranda tried her best to make herself stop kissing Andrea, wanting to make sure that this was exactly what Andrea wanted and it wasn't just in the heat of the moment, but she had this weakness for the young woman and she found Andrea to be very desirable, and her libido was taking over now and there was nothing she could do to stop.

"No, wait, stop." Andy said, pulling away from Miranda. "You're married."

Miranda shook her head, not able to help the smile tugging at her lips. "Not anymore. I filed for a divorce, and Stephen was far too happy to agree that it was the best."
"Oh." Andy said, before looking back into Miranda's eye's. "I guess that's why you left Paris early then?"

Miranda nodded. "I needed to come tell you face to face. It's not something I wanted to say over the phone."

Andy smiled. "You had hope that we would get together?" she asked softly.

Miranda nodded again. "I did."

Andy's smile widened at those words. "Kiss me again?"

"Of course." Miranda replied, instantly crushing their lips together again. She slid her hands down Andrea's back, over her ass, and the young woman moaned appreciatingly. "Andrea," Miranda whispered, breaking the kiss. "What do you want?" she asked, knowing that if Andrea really wanted this, then she would make sure the youg woman enjoyed every moment.

Andrea looked into Miranda's beautiful blue eye's before pressing her hand against Miranda's chest, feeling her heart pounding in her chest. "I want you. I want this. I want everything." she breathed.

Her hand trailed down Miranda's stomach, before stopping between the older woman's leg's, cupping gently.

Miranda's eye's closed at the feeling, and she threw her head back, and she gasped when she felt Andrea's mouth on her neck.

"My god, Miranda, you're so beautiful." she breathed, beginning to move her fingers over the fabric of Miranda's pants.

At those words, Miranda's heart fluttered, never had anyone spoken such honest and genuine words to her.

Andy tried to ignore the ache in her cunt as she eased Miranda back onto her bed. They fell onto the bed together, and Andy laid on the side not putting all her body weight the older woman, but Miranda arched up against her, pulling her closer, before her mouth was captured with Miranda's in another searing kiss.

They were both breathing heavily when they parted for much needed air, before Andy sat up and pulled off her shirt, thrilled by the way Miranda's eye's feasted on her upper body. She leaned down again, bracing herself with an arm on each side of Miranda, and began pressing soft kisses all over Miranda's face. "God, Miranda, you're incredible."

Miranda had no time to respond, because before she knew what was happening, two fingers were entering her soaked centre and moving quickly. She moaned loudly, clinging to Andrea's strong shoulders, and rocking in time with the young womans's fingers.

Andy watched the wave of emotions cross Miranda's face, and sighed, "I'm going to cherish this moment forever." she breathed. She didn't have much room to move her fingers any quicker, but she didn't want to stop to take Miranda's pants off, so continued at the pace she was going, knowing that Miranda was enjoying it.

From Andrea's words Miranda had felt a surge of arousal rush through her, and land between her legs, and it caused her to become nearer rush towards her orgasm. She knew it wouldn't take much longer before she was coming from these talented fingers. Soon the brunette's thumb was rubbing her clit, and that was it. "I'm going to.." she trailed off, her thighs shaking, as she continued to cling to Andreas body.
Andy swallowed hard as she watched Miranda ride out her orgasm. She continued to move her fingers inside Miranda, prolonging the older woman's pleasure, until Miranda's moans subsided. Soon Miranda's eyes opened and she was staring into intense blue orbs. "You're wonderful."

Miranda smiled lazily, not being able to remember the last time she'd climaxed hard. "That was.." she said, but words seemed to fail her as she still came down from her climax.

Andy grinned. "Oh, this isn't even the first of it!" she breathed, then kissed the older woman hard, and pulling Miranda closer to her, rubbing herself against Miranda through both their pants. She continued moving herself against Miranda, feeling herself come closer to her own climax, and soon Miranda's mouth was on hers again and the older woman's hand found it's way between her legs touching her arousal.

"You're so hot, Andrea." Miranda said hoarsely, pushing the loose material down a little, revealing Andrea's wet centre. She continued running her fingers through Andrea's slick folds, loving the sounds the young woman was making.

"Enter me." Andy breathed. "I need to feel more of you."

Miranda instantly did just that, causing the young woman to gasp in pleasure. "Oh yes.. like that.. just like that." she listened to Andrea whimper.

Feeling Miranda add another finger inside her was enough to send Andy over the edge, and she shook as she held Miranda, breathing heavily as she rested her head in the crook of Miranda's neck. "Oh god," she breathed, once she slightly came down from her orgasm. "That was amazing.

"I love being underneath you. You're so strong. I want you to pin me down and fuck me." Miranda said, pratically blurted, surprising the both of them.

Andy grinned seductively at Miranda, cocking an eyebrow. "Mm. Is that so?" she asked, already becoming excited from the thoughts of doing just that to the older woman. "Well, let's start then, shall we?" she asked, giggling lovingly at the lazy smile on Miranda's face.

Just as they were kissing passionately again, they heard tapping on the caravan door before it swinged open. "Andy! Andy!" Joshua's voice was heard as she barrelled into the small space.

"Shit." Andy cursed, pulling away from Miranda, beginning to curse about the damn lock not working on the caravan door. "Josh, get out of here!" she said firmly, scrambling to get her shirt on, "I'm so sorry." she said, looking apologetically at Miranda before hearing the beginning of a tantrum from her brother.

"Oh come on Joshie, you know I didn't mean it." Andy said softly, as she stood from the bed, and walked closer to her brother.

"No, you did." Josh cried, beginning to hit at his head with a hand.

"I really didn't mean it. I was just in the middle of.. um.. something with Miranda." Andy replied, trying to rest a gentle hand on Josh's shoulder throughout speaking, but he wouldn't let her, until he stopped and his face perked up when he heard the mention of her lover.
"Miranda!" Josh said, bobbing up and down on his feet, when the older woman appeared.

"Hello Joshua." Miranda said. "Can I give him a lolly?" she asked softly, reaching for her purse to take out the pack of candies she had to keep up her blood sugar.

"Yeah, sure." Andy replied, and Josh began getting excited. "But only one because dinner will be ready soon." She said, smiling as she watched Josh take one of the lolly candies from Miranda, both chuckling when he ate it quickly.

"Now what do you say?" Andy asked Josh.

Josh grinned, rubbing at his face, mumbling out a thank you. He took Miranda's bag from her.

"Oh, do you want to carry my hand bag?" she asked, a small smile on her face, letting the young boy take it.

"Alright, go back inside and wait for us. Be good for Mum." Andy replied, gently guiding Josh over to the caravan's door and both women watched as Josh made his way back inside.

"He's lovely." Miranda said, smiling, as she wrapped her arms around her lover's waist.

Andy smiled and turned around in Miranda's arms. "Yeah. I'm sorry again about that." she said, looking apologetic again.

"It's okay, darling." Miranda replied. "Though you should invest in getting the lock fixed."

Andy groaned. "I know. But well, I haven't had anyone in here for ages, so I just haven't yet."

"Not to worry." Miranda replied, pulling Andrea closer to her. "It won't stop me from having my way with you later."

Andy sighed at the thought. "I can't wait for that."

"I'm going to make you come harder than you ever have before." Miranda breathed into Andrea's ear.

Andy's cunt clenched at the thought. "Oh god, Miranda."

Miranda smirked, before placing a quick kiss on Andrea's mouth then stepped away, looking at her reflection in the mirror before heading to the door. "Come Andrea, I believe you said dinner would be served soon?"

"Huh?" Andy asked, still in a daze from Miranda's words. "Oh! Yes, dinner." she said, and watched as Miranda chuckled. "You're a tease, you know that?" she said as they stepped outside.

"Yes, and I think you quite enjoy it." Miranda replied.

~*~

"This is very delicious." Miranda said, as she finished her mouthful of the Sunday Roast.

"I'm glad you like it. You're welcome over any time for another." Andrea's mother replied.

"Thank you." Miranda replied.

"As long as you do the dishes." Andrea's mother joked, and all three laughed.

"Da!" Josh said,

"What is it sweetie?" Andrea's mother asked.

Josh pointed to his plate.

"Pass it over and Mummy will cut it for you."

"Oh. I can do it." Miranda replied, and began cutting up Joshua's small piece of roast.

"What do you say?" Mrs Sachs said once Miranda finished.

"Thanks." Josh replied, before beginning to eat, rocking back and forth in his chair.

"I hear that you're an Editor, Miranda, what's that like?" Beth asked.

"Very demanding, but I'm very much in love with what I do." Miranda replied, a small smile gracing her lips.

"Hmm, that's good. I wish I loved my job as much as you do yours." Beth replied.

Andy laughed. "I think we'd all like to love our jobs."

Miranda frowned. "You don't love yours?"

Andy shrugged. "I do but I don't. I feel like there's something more out there for me to do, I just don't know what it is yet."

Miranda remained silent, thinking over Andrea's words, knowing that she would help her young lover find her place in the world and what job would fully satisfy her.

"How many hours a week do you have to put in to run a magazine?" Beth asked.

Miranda knew that Andrea's mother was sizing her up, needing to know if she was good enough for her daughter, and if she would be there for her. "Usually I work 10 or 14 hours a day, sometimes less, it really just depends what's on my schedule."

"May I ask how old you are?" Beth asked.

"Mum!" Andy said, before turning to Miranda. "You don't have to answer that."

"I'm 51." Miranda replied, watching as Beth's eye's slightly widened.

"Hmm," Beth hummed, turning to look at her daughter, before back at Miranda. "What age do you think you'll retire?"

"Oh my god." Andy said, hiding her face with her hands from her mother's questions.

Miranda smiled as she watched her lover before turning back to Beth. "I'm not sure, maybe another few years. It really just depends."

Beth nodded. "Well, you're obviously wealthy and have enough money to live on the rest of your life."

Miranda nodded too. "That's true, but I don't do my job for the money, I do it because it's always been my passion. Money means barely next to nothing to me, I usually spend it on my girls, and put it in a savings account."

"How do you explain the clothes then if you don't use your money on yourself?" Beth questioned.

"Most of my clothes are given to me from Runway." Miranda replied. "I rarely buy my own clothes."

"Alright, I think that's enough of that talk for now." Andy said, clapping her hands together, "Who's up for some dessert?" she asked, looking at her loved ones around the table.

"Da! Da!" Joshau said, holding up his hands, and clapping them just like Andy had been doing.

Andy grinned. "That's us two sorted, what about you Miranda? We've got lemon sorbet, Mum's favourite, or double chocolate ice cream?"

"As much as the ice cream is tempting, I'll stick with the lemon sorbet, which is also my favourite." Miranda replied, smiling at Andrea and then her lover's mother.

"I'll have the same." Beth replied.

"Great!" Andy said, standing from the table. "I'll serve it up then." she said.

Miranda stood, but Andy stopped next to her and gently pushed her back down.

"Sit and relax." Andy said softly.

Miranda nodded, doing as she was told for once.

"Back in a few then." Andy said, walking over into the small kitchen.
