You asked if I wanted to come over.
For maybe a glass of red wine.
- and since you asked so straight away, I had no chance to say no.
You even cooked my favourite meal.
It's sweet that you remember.
But I won't stay for dessert, no.
My strenght wouldn't last for it.
Seeing you sitting vis-a-vis, ignoring whatever could be a distraction and staring openly.
It's a torture and I know that you know it.
How can we go on like this?
You are the sweetest person I ever met, though I can't tell you that.
Tomorrow and every other day of future will make it even harder to go on.
You threw away caution long ago, everybody sees you lay your heart in front of my feet.
They think I'm a cold hearted monster but truth is...
You got me on fire.
