I don't usually do this sort of thing, but I find myself with some free time this week and writer's block. I can't seem to make any headway in stories I've already started. Andy decides being with Miranda is a great idea and sets out to convince her of this. Miranda, meanwhile, is full of reasons why it's a bad plan and is determined any feelings should be ignored. Andy, of course, wins in the end!

Jealousy

Prompt: Andrea's jealousy of Miranda almost derails their lives until Miranda finds a way to convince Andrea that she will always be faithful.

Andy leaves Runway as per the movie but Miranda blacklists her in publishing. Having built a relationship with Miranda's daughters, Andy sees a chance to make a living and to be around the girls when their father advertises to hire a nanny. Knowing that if she turns up as herself she has no chance of getting the job she pulls a Mrs. Doubtfire and Andrew is born. The twins immediately know it's her and aid in the deception so that they can be close to Andy on the days they are with their father. Andy is good for them, (their grades go up, they are better behaved, etc.). Miranda chances to see "Andrew" a few times while dealing with her ex and picking up the girls. She notes the likeness to Andrea, who left her, which hurt her terribly. That coupled with the fact that "he" seems so good for her girls Miranda becomes enamored of the younger "man". Feeling foolish but determined as only Miranda Priestly can be, she starts a campaign to win the young man's heart. Andy, who was in love with Miranda before she ever left Runway is now in a
