The blogging network that included the Shrine blog, Today.com, recently cut the pay for bloggers across the board. Top bloggers with hundreds of thousands of page views fell right alongside the newbies.

AUGH indeed! I've been seething with anger for a couple days now, but I'm finally starting to chill. At least a dozen other people who got booted out (as well as some working from the inside...mwahahah) have banded together to help each other start afresh. I've got a freebie blog started for my TV site, but the Shrine I think I'm going to get a permanent domain for, so that'll take me a bit longer to set up.

I'll let you know when the Shrine is back!

That's horrible! So rude, that's really not the way to conduct a business, if that's the way they run things, no wonder they aren't doing well. *hugs*

Good luck with the search for a new host, and please do keep us posted. (I don't comment often, but I do go there and check out the lovelies all the time.)

We're finding out more and more, that they've kicked out people before like this. Anyone that speaks up gets immediately canned. It's unbelievable. Talk about the opposite of a free speech zone!

Thanks for your support hon'! I think I'm going to get my own domain for the Shrine, so it'll be more my own space and I can do what I want. I'll let you know when it's up and running. And thanks so much for visiting the previous version. I was just starting to really have fun with it...argh.
