I wasn't sure if I was meant to chip in, but I've already told unfeathered that this blew me away. And while authorial intent is largely irrelevant, I had a couple of observations of my own

I'm so glad you like it. I love doing these.

Very interesting about the title. I love trying (though I don't always succeed) to find titles for my stories that have double (or more) meanings, so I assume that most of these meanings were intentional! :-)

And yeah. The whole year thing is just so. BIG. It is incomprehensible.

Yes, I think the Toclafane's beams were red. I didn't get that it was supposed to be them - I thought the shadow of moment was the Master drawing his screwdriver (now that's a weird phrase to type!), as he was 'off-screen' at that point.

The commentator is perfectly happy with the author's preoccupation with getting Jack naked and wet. In fact, I suspect most people are happy with it. *g*

I wish more had been said about Lucy in the show. There was so much I wanted to know.

I'm getting addicted to ellipses too... Oh dear...

My approach to titles tends to be a little more...zen... It usually involves staring into space, running random thoughts through my head and probably chewing a pen until the right words drop into place. It's not a process I can explain, it just kind of happens. Either that or I go for the bad puns or poetry quotations. They've yet to let me down
